Industry Overview & Market Background
General industrial packaging covers manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, and other sectors — one of the largest application segments for PE packaging films. PE packaging films are broadly categorized into food packaging, industrial packaging, daily chemical packaging, and agricultural packaging. Industrial stretch films and related products are widely used in pallet transport, warehouse stacking, and product securing. In 2024, PE stretch film prices showed a “W” trend, with ongoing market supply-demand dynamics. From 2021-2023, PE packaging film average capacity growth reached 4.2%, entering a rapid development phase, with the market approaching saturation in 2024-2025.
Industry Pain Points
Manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing sectors face common packaging efficiency and cost challenges:
1. Insecure Load Stabilization – The “Ticking Time Bomb” of Transport Safety
Palletized goods are prone to scattering, collapse, and even safety accidents during transport and handling due to vibration, jolting, and tilting. Traditional rope tying or tape securing methods are time-consuming and labor-intensive, with unreliable results. Once a load collapses, it not only causes product damage but also potential safety incidents and transport delays.
2. High Packaging Costs – The Hidden “Profit Black Hole”
Traditional packaging methods (cartons, wooden crates, strapping, etc.) have high material costs, long manual operation times, and large warehouse footprints. For high-volume shippers, packaging costs can account for 5-10% of total product costs. Additionally, traditional packaging materials are difficult to recycle and face increasing waste disposal fees.
3. Inadequate Dust and Moisture Protection – “Chronic Losses” in Storage
Industrial products are vulnerable to dust contamination and moisture ingress during storage. For precision components, electronic parts, and food ingredients, both dust and moisture can cause quality degradation or even complete failure. Standard covering methods cannot provide reliable sealed protection.
Our Solution
We provide efficient, cost-effective, and reliable PE packaging for general industry:
1. PE Stretch Film – Securing Loads with “Memory”
Using LLDPE resin with tackifier formulation, produced through cast or blown film processes. Key advantages:
Excellent Stretch Performance: Elongation at break of 300-500%, conforming tightly to various load shapes
Superior Self-Adhesion: Layers bond firmly to each other — no tape or heat sealing required
Memory Locking: The film’s elastic memory after stretching tightly bundles goods into a single unit
No Heating Required: Usable at room temperature — saving energy and equipment investment
High Clarity: Easy barcode scanning and inventory counting
Available in hand-grade (with handle dispenser) and machine-grade (with automatic stretch wrappers) for different operational scenarios.
2. Flexible Thickness and Specification Customization – Adapting to Diverse Needs
Width adjustable from 3cm to 150cm, thickness from 12 microns to 200 microns. Whether for small household items, medium-sized parts, or large pallet loads and heavy equipment — there’s a matching specification. Available in natural, white, black, and custom colors.
3. High Clarity – Packaging Value You Can See
High-clarity formulations ensure products remain clearly visible after wrapping, facilitating warehouse inventory counting, barcode scanning, and product identification without opening packages — improving warehouse operational efficiency.

Case Study
Case: A New Energy Vehicle Battery Tray Manufacturer
Client Background: A manufacturer of aluminum battery trays for new energy vehicle brands. Products are irregularly shaped, relatively large (up to 2 meters in length), with annual shipments exceeding 100,000 units.
Challenge: The client previously used manual strapping + cardboard edge protectors. Three major problems: low packaging efficiency (15-20 minutes per unit) with high labor costs; complex procurement management with multiple material types (cardboard, strapping, edge protectors); and cardboard softening from moisture during transport, reducing protection effectiveness and occasionally resulting in product damage.
Solution: We designed a PE stretch film + custom edge protector combination — machine-grade stretch film with automatic wrapping equipment to secure battery trays on pallets; PE edge protectors for reinforced corner protection; and a final outer layer of colored stretch film (client’s brand color) for both protection and brand presentation.
Results:
Per-unit packaging time reduced from 15-20 minutes to 3-5 minutes — 70% efficiency improvement
Annual film material costs saved RMB 470,000
Packaging material types reduced from 5 to 2 (stretch film + edge protectors) — significantly simplified procurement and inventory management
Transport damage rate reduced from 1.2% to below 0.1% Colored stretch film enhanced brand image — client adopted it as a delivery standard and promoted it to other suppliers
